We’re proud to share that Coda Group has been recognised with the Leadership Award at the 2025 New Zealand Workplace Health and Safety Awards.

The award, which AutoSense had the honour of nominating them for, acknowledges Coda’s exceptional commitment to tackling driver fatigue and distraction across their national logistics network. Led by their 3PL transport team and adopted throughout their network via service partners, this initiative introduced advanced in-cab safety technology, Guardian and MiTAC, in partnership with AutoSense. Together, they have driven a transformational improvement in road safety.

The initiative has fostered a stronger safety culture across the entire supply chain, reducing risk and enhancing wellbeing for drivers and partners alike.

At the centre of this achievement is strong and purposeful leadership. We extend our warmest congratulations to Deena Clarkson, Chief Executive of Coda, for her vision and determination to drive lasting change in the transport industry.

“This is a fantastic example of what is possible when technology, people and purpose align,” says AutoSense CEO Charles Dawson. “Coda’s leadership in this space is not only making their own network safer, it is helping raise the bar for the entire industry.”

We’re proud to be their technology and training partner and look forward to continuing this vital work together.

Watch Deena Clarkson share the Coda story and their journey to safer roads.
