Tailored solutions. Managed service.
Is driving your biggest workplace risk? The Fleet Driver Training program is a simple three step health and safety-based driver training program. It uses mixed media utilising online, practical evaluation and coaching. All online components can be either hosted by AutoSense or installed on an organisations own Learning Management System
How it works
Our three-step program provides you with visibility of your driver's level of:
Competency
Attitudes and behaviours
Personal risk choices
By assessing these areas, the program targets those drivers who need practical training making more efficient use of employee’s time and limited resources.
Step 1: Evaluate
A short questionnaire is undertaken to evaluate fleet risk and driver behaviour.
Fleet Risk Questionnaire (FRQ)
Fleet Managers complete the FRQ to understand the current risk of the fleet. Telematics, infringement, crash and complaints data can also be added to gain a full picture of risk.

Driver Behaviour Questionnaire (DBQ)
The DBQ is a short 10-minute survey, which identifies areas of risk and a driving type profile. The business receives a driver score and the organisations’ score, to allow targeting training to be planned
Step 2: Mitigate
Once the DBQ is complete, a driver profile is recorded. A summary of results, recommendations and a training proposal is presented.
Modules to be specified by results of self-assessments, GPS information and CLIENTS insurance crash results.
Competent: complete online modules to build and maintain awareness
Partially competent: complete online modules and an in-vehicle evaluation.
Not competent: complete an in-vehicle coaching session targeting identified areas of risk or concern.
DRIVER AWARENESS MODULES
AutoSense produces driver awareness modules in support of its driver risk reduction programme. Modules cover all major risk factors. Get in touch with us for a free demo.
SPECIALIST SKILLS
If your drivers are needing some support with specialist driving skills, our team can help. We offer driver familiarisation training for fleet vehicles, as well as EV+Hybrid vehicles. We also offer Trailor Towing and FWD programmes. Take a look.
Step 3: Reporting
Regular reporting is available. It is held in a secure and easily accessible Learning Management System.
FLEET
Monthly Delivery Plan: Highlights progress and actions that are required for delivery
Quarterly Fleet Review: Sessions are a review of overall company results to further identify next steps. An exec summary can be used for board presentation.
Annual reviews are to celebrate successes and reassess overall risk (using FRQ) and plan for the coming 12 months.
LMS results are reported for trainee completion (competence) levels.
